Get to Know Us

Founded by Igor Shekunov and Anna Kiseleva, Clean Day in LA began as a grassroots initiative aimed at combating environmental degradation in Los Angeles. Disturbed by the pollution they encountered in iconic locations around the city, Igor and Anna organized their first cleanup event shortly after arriving in the US. The project quickly gained momentum, attracting volunteers passionate about making a tangible difference. Today, Clean Day in LA not only focuses on cleaning up urban areas but also extends its efforts to forest conservation through the "Clean Forest" project. As the organization grows, it aims to expand nationally, fostering a culture of environmental responsibility and community engagement across America.
